SALES AND MARKETING BASE IN SINGAPORE

Every day we are guided by our purpose to use the power of leading-edge science to save and improve lives around the world by delivering vaccines and innovative medicines to patients in need.

MSD, a leading global biopharmaceutical company also known as Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, N.J., U.S.A in the U.S. and Canada set up its first sales and marketing office in Singapore in 1993.

The sales and marketing office under the Human Health Division comprises strategic functions such as sales, marketing, market access, digital analytics, medical affairs to name a few – who are passionate about bringing our medicines to advance the prevention and treatment of diseases and cancers to patients in Singapore.

Our therapeutic areas of focus include cancer, vaccines, and hospital acute care.

Cancer is a complex disease and one of the leading causes of death worldwide.  We’re proud to deliver breakthrough innovations in oncology that are helping to extend the lives of patients with certain types of cancer.  We work with the entire oncology community — advocacy partners, patient groups, health care providers, governments and industry colleagues — to create programs that help patients and caregivers on their journey, as well as provide grants to organizations that support patients with cancer. We’re working to invent a world where cancer isn’t just treated but cured.

Vaccines are one of the greatest public health success stories in history. Our work in vaccines focuses on making certain diseases a thing of the past. We are dedicated to the complex business of researching and producing vaccines.

We are also focused on taking on infectious diseases with the hope of creating a better world. Beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been combating global health threats caused by infectious diseases for more than a century. From developing one of the first antibiotics to pioneering research in HIV science, our focus has always been on the prevention and treatment of diseases that threaten people and communities around the world. But our work is far from done. Every year, millions of people die from infectious diseases and the world is counting on us to bring forward new approaches to help ease human suffering.

As a global healthcare leader, every day we are guided by our purpose to use the power of leading-edge science to save and improve lives around the world. Whether it is inventing breakthrough medicines and vaccines that address critical areas of growing medical need, improving sustainable access to health care or improving awareness and education about diseases, we are committed to making the world a better place today and for generations to come.

As long as there are still patients in hospitals, doctors desperate to add years to the lives of their patients, and a world where treatments aren’t accessible to all, we will be here: fighting with all we have to deliver more, sooner.
